When a painting is the reason we are meeting, the work begins with a private admission call. This is less a conversation about colours, dimensions or where the piece will hang, and more an opportunity for me to encounter you — to understand something of your energy, where you are, what you are moving through, and what may be asking to emerge. Sometimes, that encounter has already begun. An Inquiry, a Session, or another way we have worked together can become a natural portal into a painting — each experience offering another way for something to reveal itself. The paintings begin before they ever reach the canvas. I enter the work through meditation, allowing the painting to first present itself before translating what I receive into physical form. I may see fragments, movement, colour or composition; at other times, it is something less tangible that I have to follow. From there, I step into the position of messenger, working in acrylic through layers of texture, colour and abstraction, allowing the piece to evolve, disappear, rebuild and become what it needs to become. Each painting is created for its receiver — not simply to represent them, but to hold something for them. The work is intended to energize, stabilize and align; to shift the atmosphere of the space it inhabits; and to act as a portal toward the highest expression of who they are becoming. Commissioning a painting is therefore as much an experience as it is the creation of an artwork — something summoned through our encounter, translated through me, and made tangible for you.
HOW DOES A COMMISSION START?
Each commission begins with a private admission call. This gives us an opportunity to connect before the work begins and allows me to encounter you, understand what is present, and begin sensing what the painting may hold.
If we have already worked together through an Inquiry, Session or another part of my practice, that experience may naturally become the starting point for a painting.
CAN I CHOOSE WHAT MY PAINTING LOOKS LIKE?
You are welcome to share preferences, your space and anything you feel is important for me to know but the purpose of this particular commission is to let the complete manifestation of your piece be a total unveiling.
Energy Portraits are not created from a predetermined design.
The composition, colour, texture and movement of the work are allowed to emerge through the meditation process.
Each commissioned piece comes with a personalized letter detailing some of the experience of your piece, what insights came through and which Energy of Focus was the foundation of your piece - Purpose, Power or Healing.
CAN PAINTINGS BE MADE FOR A SPACE OR BUSINESS?
Yes, absolutely. The process and planning is different.
WHAT SIZES ARE AVAILABLE?
Six signature sizes are available, with commissions ranging from $2,500 CAD.
Specific dimensions, larger-scale works and unique projects may also be requested.
HOW IS A PAINTING CREATED?
I begin in meditation and allow the painting to reveal itself before bringing it to canvas. From there, the work is built intuitively in acrylic through layers of colour, texture and abstraction, evolving until it feels complete.
HOW LONG DOES A COMMISSION TAKE?
Timing varies according to the scale and nature of the work, often between 6-12 weeks.
An anticipated completion window will be provided when your commission is accepted.
CAN I COMMISSION A PAINTING AS A GIFT?
Potentially. Because the process relies on connection with the receiver, gifted commissions are considered individually.
IS SHIPPING AVAILABLE?
Yes. Completed works can be professionally packaged and shipped, framed on canvas, or rolled for easier and less costly fees. Shipping requirements and associated costs are determined according to the size of the work and its destination.
